Ching-mui is going to summon Ka-lai’s wife Ma Suk-yee to testify in court. But Suk-yee suddenly disappears. Sun-hop and his chums promptly find Suk-yee. Mei-la manages to convince her to testify that Ka-lai has committed crime. While Sun-hop and Kwok Lam are escorting Suk-yee away, they get into a precarious situation as some assassin goes after them. Mei-la gives up her prosecutor job and becomes Sun-hop’s defense witness.
