The friends goes to a cottage to celebrate New Year's Eve. Mads and Emil are disappointed by the lack of girls, but when Lærke shows up, a fierce battle begins for them to get her attention. Ane uses the special evening to tell Olau about her feelings, and gets a very unexpected reaction.
