Unter den Linden, the old boulevard that connects the Brandenburg Gate and Alexanderplatz, leads past the Neue Wache, the Humboldt University, the Gendarmenmarkt, the Museum Island, the Berlin Cathedral, the Nikolaiviertel and the Red Town Hall.
